Keeping healthy this Winter with GET more VITS vitamin drinks

It's that time of year, the Little Ones have settled back into school, the weather is getting cooler, the heating has come on for the first time and it has been damp and drizzly for days, Autumn is here. The dreaded feeling that bug and germ season will soon be well and truly upon us and my thoughts turn to how I can help to keep myself and the Little Ones healthy this Winter.

The Little Ones are not fussy eaters, we have a healthy diet with plenty of home cooked food as well as the odd treat too but I do often wonder if we are all getting everything we need to keep us healthy.

All three of them are growing at a rate of knots, all working hard in school and the girls lead a very active lifestyle training three times a week for gymnastics, sometimes I think they might need more than their meals can give them. At the end of a long week when I am feeling totally shattered I often wonder if I too am lacking in something and could do with a little boost.

Vitamins help you keep strong and healthy, without them our bodies can't work properly so a simple way to get more vitamins can only be good thing - right?

Enter GET more VITS- I recently found out about these drinks at Blog On and we were asked if we wanted to try them out. These drinks are made with spring water and come in a variety of sizes, types and flavours with each drink having the benefit of added vitamins.

I liked the idea and with three willing taste testers to assist me we put them on trial.

There are two ranges out, one aimed at grown ups and one at kids. The Children's range is available in 330ml sports cap bottles, perfect for lunch boxes, after school or on the go and are made up of three differently flavoured still spring water drinks, each of the flavours, Apple and Blackcurrant, Raspberry and Blueberry and Orange and Mango are sugar free and only sweetened with sucralose (none of the nasty chemical sweetener stuff in these). The  drinks contain a range of B vitamins and calcium perfect for supporting the immune system, growing bones and a healthy body.

All three Little ones liked the taste, the natural flavours were strong enough to make the drinks tasty but not overpowering at the same time, these drinks lasted minutes in the hands of the Little Ones as they liked them, that is saying something as getting my three to drink enough is a daily battle. Being a mum I loved the fact that each bottle contains around 50% of the Nutrient Reference Value of each vitamin so even a cup of GET more VITs would give their diet a vitamin boost.

The adult range of drinks comes in several sizes: 500ml and 1 litre bottles as well as cans for some varieties. There are many flavours including Lemon and Lime, Apple and Raspberry, Watermelon, Orange and Cranberry, some of which are available in both still and sparkling varieties and others one or the other. All the drinks are sugar free, suitable for vegetarians (or even vegans) and contain natural flavours and added vitamins.

This range contain specific vitamins such as B, C, D as well as multivitamin varieties or ones with electrolytes so you can choose what you need or feel might be lacking in your diet and with a 500ml bottle containing up to 100% of your daily Nutrient Reference Value of each vitamin you can be sure you are getting what you need. These too have a great taste, I really liked the Lemon and Lime flavour as well as the Sparkling Orange and would buy them again.

GET more VITs drinks are widely available in supermarkets including Tesco, Asda, Ocado, Sainsburys, Spar and Nisa as well as on Amazon and WHSmith.
