What the Little Ones wear- Joules dress

You all know the girls love dresses, given the choice they would not own a pair of shorts or trousers but sometimes they are more practical for my outdoorsy girls, however, more often than not they will be in a dress.

The current favourite for Little 2 is this one from Joules, perfect for this mixed up summer weather. A lovely lightweight cotton dress with a double layer skirt, pink and white stripes on the top with gold shiny spots and a blue skirt.

Being lightweight it is easy to wear and Little 2 always picks this one if it is in her wardrobe, she loves the 3/4 length sleeves with the current changeable weather as she doesn't like to have cold arms but loves the fact that it is a dress she doesn't get too hot in as it has been so muggy here lately.

It goes equally well with sandals on it's own or with tights and wellies if you need to layer up. Little 1 has the same dress too but prefers to wear hers in the cooler months.

This dress looks equally good with sandals or layered up with tights and wellies, I can see it being worn a whole lot as the Autumn weather comes.

Do you have any wardrobe favourites, what does your child reach for first?

  3. Ah I'm jealous, my little girl hates wearing dresses! She looks adorable in them so it's a shame. This one looks lovely 😊 X

  6. I've always loved Joules clothes, was so disappointed with their wellies though so I'm avoiding them now. The heel came off completely and I had hardly worn them, expected so much more quality from this brand. Apparently it is quite common with the wellies x

  24. That's such a pretty dress. Little girls always look lovely in pink and with frills. Saying that, my little girl was a bit of a tomboy at times and that's great, too!
