Last week Little 2 turned 2 years old, it was a bitter-sweet moment for me, my littlest girl has really left babyhood behind, although she is still my baby, she is a proper little girl now. I have noticed a real change in her over the last couple of months, she has become fiercely independent, her language skills have exploded and she is just so much more grown up.
She doesn't want help using the toilet although her legs dangle 2 foot of the floor and she can't get on herself. She has been saying 'Please' and 'Thank You Mummy' and 'Bless you me' when she sneezes, without any prompting from me. She is playing and sharing with her big sister so nicely, I can't believe this has all happened since Christmas.
These pictures were taken a couple of days ago, she wanted to have a banana and open it herself without help (she managed it).
She looks so grown up and much older, having her hair up is new for her as she would just pull it out before but now it will stay in all day, she often asks for a 'bobble' now. It is scary how fast they change, it wasn't really 2 years ago that she looked like this was it?
I can't wait to see what the future holds for both my girls, what they will do and what kind of person they will be but please my Little Ones 'STOP GROWING UP SO FAST, there really is no hurry'.
I love this post! Our twins turn 2, a week today and it is bitter sweet! They're not babies anymore, they're little girls and so independent! Thanks for linking up #binkylinky

ReplyDeletePotato will be 2 in May and I just can't believe how fast its gone. He's such a wonderful little boy, and he's not a baby anymore. I'm really looking forward to seeing how he develops, but I definitely miss the snuggly baby xx
