I don't know about you but I really don't like children's clothes that have those plasticy transfer pictures on the front, they look fab to begin with but after a few washes they look like they are faded or starting to crack or peel and even decent brands that last a little longer look tatty very quickly.
When I buy the Little Ones clothes I do like lovely pictures and detail on them and so do they, we don't have very many plain outfits in our house. So when I buy I look for the detail, sewn on appliques are my favourite as they stay looking fabulous wash after wash like these two tops of Little 1's that she wears again and again teamed with pink leggings.
Top and Leggings: Frugi AW16
Top: Lilly and Sid AW16, leggings: as above.
Top: Lilly and Sid (an older style), Leggings F&F at Tesco
Top: Junior J at Debenhams AW16
And then there are sequins, who doesn't love sequins especially the ones that change colour depending on how you brush them.
Dress: Mini Boden SS16, Cardigan: BHS
And the best thing about clothes like these- I can let Daddy do the ironing, he doesn't have a very good history with the children's plasticy clothes, melted t-shirt anyone!!
